Ivan Whisky, aka 001, is one of the protagonists of the 1966 Cyborg 009 film and its sequel Cyborg 009 Monster Wars.
Appearance[]
001 is a small infant boy in a lavender-colored baby gown with a white bib and buttons. His hair is styled in a light brown bowl-cut, the fringe of which always shields his eyes (though early Ishinomori-drawn concept art for the 1966 film showed them to be a sparkly black). He is never seen without his white pacifier.
He is often held by 003, or as in the sequel, likes to occasionally float about in a basket.
Personality[]
001 is highly-intelligent, due to his brain enhancements, and quick to dispense information on what is going on.
He also serves as emergency rescue for the team when they are stuck in some situations, as long as he is at full power and awake.
Abilities[]
In the first film, only his telepathic speech is displayed, with him communicating to 009 and the others.
In Monster Wars, he is seen telekinetically floating about in his basket, and can teleport the others at least twice in times of need.
